The 1st Amendment

The first amendment means a lot to me and effects my life in a huge way. Without the first amendment I would not get to believe in a religion I want to believe in and I would not be able to speak my mind. That is why we have the first amendment so the government will not get judge us on what we believe in only people that can really say something is other people. We can not be forced to believe in other religions its our choice. We could talk about our government without facing any consequences unless it is a threat to someones life. We could express our self in any way we want to a certain extent. Having the freedom of speech is also great to have because you have the right to speak your mind when you want to and let people know that you can be trusted. This is what makes America so great we have so much freedom unlike other places. That is why the first amendment means so much to me and why it affects not only my life in a huge way but everyone Else's.

Burton Election

Out of all of the candidates who are running for student body and class officers at Burton High School, which candidate(s) do you think can make a difference at our school? Explain why.

Out of all the candidates I thought That Minh & Sam. I chose Minh because his ideas sounded reasonable and possible to make happen at our school. They way he delivered his speech showed that he knows how to talk and communication is a big part of being a leader. I picked Sam for also the same things because not only is he a great friend I think he would also be a great leader to help make our school and the class of 10 be the best it can be.

Gym

Everyones wearing their p.e uniform. Its loud from people talking and playing basketball and volleyball. Its full of energy, hot, and sweaty.  Some kids are sitting on the floor and getting yelled at by the teachers. Its mostly the boys playing and the girls are just talking and walking around the gym. The gym floor is wood and the bleachers are pushed in.
